I'm currently running 80 mods with few issues and averaging around 30 FPS on my early 2015 macbook pro. There are occasional crashes and stutters but it's very playable, it's about as stable as Vanilla. It's a bit of a process but I've managed to play for 40 hours so far without too many issues.
